The role of certification today is well and truly consolidated both in the goods and services market, thanks to the importance acquired by the Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction processes, and in commercial and legal contexts as regards the trade of products according to the new European Union approach.
At the same time, globalisation has brought about considerable benefits by removing the barriers of protectionism and encouraging a free market but it has also created safety problems in relation to the social and environmental situation and increased competitiveness among companies.
